We specialize in wedding, elopement, engagement, and portrait photography for couples and families, creating natural, genuine images that reflect the true emotion of your day. Based in Albany, NY, we serve the Capital District, select areas of New Jersey, and destination weddings across the United States.

Kristen’s journey into photography began in elementary school, guided by her father’s encouragement. Since founding KRP in 2011, she has transformed that childhood passion into a career capturing stunning, memorable moments for clients across the country. Kristen’s favorite sessions feature couples whose love lights up everyone around them — and of course, dogs. Known for her ability to make people feel comfortable and safe in front of the camera, she creates an environment where authentic moments shine. Her secret weapon? A decade of teaching 8th grade, which makes her more than prepared to handle even the rowdiest wedding party.

Sheridan Renee

Sheridan joined the team in 2022, bringing a unique balance of energy and creativity. While Kristen gravitates toward a brighter aesthetic, Sheridan creates striking compositions with a darker, moodier vibe. She thrives as the party comes alive, often diving into the middle of the dance floor to capture wedding guests in their most authentic moments of joy. Sheridan is also excellent at directing people, ensuring portraits feel natural while still beautifully composed. With 30 years of childcare experience, she intuitively understands what families need during their sessions, making the experience stress-free and enjoyable.
